New Sanrio Bath Plushies Arrive
Fans of Sanrio’s charming characters Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll can look forward to a new way to enjoy bath time. The “bath plushies” (basugurumi) from the Chapoon series are set to launch from May 23, 2026, onwards. These soft toys double as body sponges, making bath time more fun for children (and adults!) who aren’t fond of bathing.

Part of the Chapoon series, these bath plushies are made with a mesh material that lathers well and works comfortably as a body sponge. You can use them to wash your body while enjoying the company of your favorite Sanrio character. They also feature a non-rust plastic bell inside, so you can shake them to make a cheerful sound while bathing.
