The TV anime “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) is teaming up with Farm Resort THE FARM in Katori, Chiba Prefecture for a limited-time collaboration event titled “Omoide o Tsumugu, Hoshi to Takibi no Tabiji” (Spinning Memories, the Journey of Stars and Campfire), running from July 17 to October 16, 2026. This immersive experience will treat guests to a reproduction of the iconic dessert from the series—the Melkua Pudding—along with exclusive original illustration flags featuring the characters in charming farming outfits.

“Sousou no Frieren” is based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story takes place in a world after the Demon King’s defeat, following the elf mage Frieren, who lived for over a thousand years alongside the hero party, as she embarks on new journeys. The first anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, gaining massive popularity domestically and abroad. The second season ran from January to March 2026 under director Kitagawa Tomoya (with season 1 director Saitou Keiichirou as supervision), and the third season, the “Golden Land Arc,” has been announced for October 2027.
The collaboration is designed to let guests fully immerse themselves in the world of Frieren during a one-night glamping stay under the stars and by a campfire at THE FARM.

The Melkua Pudding is a dessert that appears in the anime, enjoyed by Frieren and her companions during their journey. It is a large pudding generously topped with berry sauce, symbolizing a peaceful moment between adventures. At THE FARM, guests will experience an interactive twist: they will complete the dessert themselves by pouring a separate berry sauce over a gentle sweet milk pudding, creating a one-of-a-kind Melkua-style treat.

Adding to the experience, the collaboration offers original flags featuring newly drawn illustrations of Frieren/Himmel and Fern/Stark dressed in farming clothes. These flags will be included with dinner and can be used to decorate the dessert, adding a playful touch that subtly evokes the series’ atmosphere.

The “Spinning Memories, the Journey of Stars and Campfire” collaboration takes place from July 17 to October 16, 2026, at Farm Resort THE FARM in Katori, Chiba. Reservations opened on March 30, 2026. For more details, visit the special website.
