New original merchandise for the TV anime Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi has been announced, featuring newly drawn illustrations and character artwork from the series. Pre-orders are now open at FAN+Life.
The series is based on the manga by nonco, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. It follows Kanan, a gourmet demon who descends to a human high school to feast on young, sweet souls, but ends up in a relationship with the naturally positive male student Kyoushi Kumori. The story is a love comedy centered on Kanan’s unexpectedly easy-to-handle (choroi) personality. Since its debut in 2022, the delicate and beautiful character illustrations and the overwhelming charm of the story have captivated readers. The TV anime is directed by Yasushi Muroya at Studio KAI.
This new lineup features an “idol” theme with a brand-new illustration of the high and mighty Kanan. Products include a three-dimensional mouse pad, a pillow case, glasses stands, acrylic stands, mini art stands, and trading can badges featuring only Kanan.
