A special fair to commemorate the release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc: Chapter 1 – Akaza Returns on Blu-ray and DVD has been announced. Running at Animate stores nationwide in two phases starting July 28, 2026, the event offers exclusive bonuses and a chance to take photos with mini “corps member” characters.
The blockbuster film, based on Gotouge Koyoharu’s mega-hit manga (over 220 million copies in print), opened in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025. By April 9, 2026, it had drawn 27,455,968 viewers and earned ¥40,200,190,000 at the box office, becoming the latest triumph for the ufotable-produced series.
Fair Details
The Animate fair consists of two periods. Phase 1 runs from July 28 to August 28, 2026. Customers who purchase or reserve qualifying Kimetsu no Yaiba merchandise (¥1,100 or more per item) will receive one random bromide from a set of seven designs. The illustrations, newly drawn by ufotable, feature Tanjirou Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyuu Tomioka, Shinobu Kochou, Kanao Tsuyuri, Hakuji, and Koyuki.
Phase 2 takes place from August 29 to September 27, 2026. The same purchase rules apply, but the bonus changes to a clear bookmark set (also seven designs).
Additionally, anyone who buys the fully limited edition Blu-ray or DVD (including Animate exclusive sets) during either phase will receive the complete seven-piece bonus set corresponding to that period, featuring chibi versions of the same characters.
Mini Corps Members Group Photo Event
To further celebrate, a “Mini Corps Members Group Shot Photo Event” will be held across seven cities: Miyagi, Osaka, Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Aichi, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. Purchasing one copy of the fully limited edition Blu-ray or DVD (including Animate exclusive sets) qualifies the buyer for a serial code to enter a lottery. Winners may bring up to two guests (three people per group) and have their photo taken with two mini figures of fixed character pairs. An attendee-only clear card styled like a bookmark, featuring the mini corps members from the participant’s session, will be given to each guest (maximum three per group).

Blu-ray & DVD Release Details
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc: Chapter 1 – Akaza Returns Blu-ray and DVD will hit shelves on July 29, 2026. Pricing is as follows:
- Fully Limited Edition Animate Exclusive Set: Blu-ray ¥15,950 (tax incl.) / DVD ¥14,850 (tax incl.)
- Fully Limited Edition: Blu-ray ¥11,000 (tax incl.) / DVD ¥9,900 (tax incl.)
- Standard Edition: Blu-ray ¥4,950 (tax incl.) / DVD ¥4,400 (tax incl.)
The Animate exclusive limited edition includes an A5 character fine graph featuring a newly drawn illustration of Tanjirou and Giyuu, plus a mini folding screen. Animate store bonuses for the limited edition are an A3 clear poster and badge set using the same illustration; the standard edition receives a postcard. A manufacturer bonus (a colored paper drawn by character designer and chief animation director Matsushima Akira) is also available.
The fair and photo event run while supplies last; details may be subject to change, postponement, or cancellation. Nezuko’s name uses the correct kanji “禰” (worshipping radical) plus “豆.”
