TV Tokyo has announced the 17th season of the short-form horror anime series Yami Shibai. The new season, centered on the theme of “Ketsu” (Decision), is set to premiere on July 12, 2026, on TV Tokyo. The official website also revealed the staff, cast, key visual, and theme song.

The enka duo Fuurin will perform the theme song “Yami Shibai no Blues.”
The first Yami Shibai season premiered in Summer 2013. Crunchyroll simulcasts each season with English subtitles. Sentai Filmworks licensed the first two seasons in December 2015 and released them on home video the following April. The latest season, Yami Shibai 16, aired in Winter 2026.
