The upcoming film for Meitantei Precure! has revealed its official title, main visual, and a batch of new stills, bringing together multiple generations of Precure heroes. The movie, titled Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu, is set to open in Japanese theaters on September 18, 2026.
Main Visual Brings a Dreamlike Garden to Life
The newly released main visual, described as “hanamaru kawaii,” features Cure Answer and Cure Mystic from Meitantei Precure! alongside Pochitan and Jet-senpai, all set in a fantastical “mysterious garden.” The illustration also includes the enigmatic Cure Éclair and Shushutan, as well as Cure Arcana Shadow and Mashutan—who, despite being Precure, are currently active as the mysterious “Phantom” thief group. Joining them are Cure Idol and friends from Kimi to Idol Precure♪ and Wonderful Precure!, marking a dream crossover across series.
The visual also introduces movie-original characters: a mysterious girl named Karin and the fairies Alan and Rain. They appear to be deeply connected to the story’s central mystery set in the “mysterious garden.”
New Stills Hint at the “X Mark” Mystery
Alongside the visual, three new stills have been released, capturing key moments from the film. The story follows Anna and her friends as they investigate a strange phenomenon where “X marks” appear on objects around town, causing them to stop working or become unusable.
In the first still, Anna, Mikkuru, and Pochitan chase after a hand-shaped “Dame Dame” in an alley, while Ruruka and Mashutan watch. The second still shows the group arriving at the beautiful “Karin’s Garden,” where Cure Mystic and Cure Answer marvel at the roses and castle, with Cure Éclair and Cure Arcana Shadow looking on thoughtfully. The third still captures Pochitan, Jet-senpai, Mashutan, and Shushutan holding Miracle Lights, cheering on the Precure.
Advance Ticket Bonuses and Giveaway
Starting June 26, advance movie tickets (card type) with a bonus will be available at theater box offices (excluding some locations). Purchasers will receive one of two “Kirakira Hanamaru Sticker” designs: Cure Answer & Cure Mystic, or Cure Éclair & Cure Arcana Shadow. Separately, character-design advance tickets featuring each of the four main Precure will be sold online and at select Precure Pretty Store locations.
Additionally, the first-run giveaway for elementary school students and younger is the “Pochitan Miracle Light,” marking the return of the Miracle Light item for the first time since 2023’s Eiga Precure All Stars F. The item is limited in quantity, so early theater visits are recommended.
