The TV anime adaptation of Fuuun kara no Saikyou Otoko (The Strongest Man from Misfortune) has been confirmed to air in 2027. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual was unveiled, and it was revealed that Chiba Shouya’s new song “Luck Out” will serve as the image song for the series.
Originally a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou, Fuuun kara no Saikyou Otoko has surpassed 1.5 million copies in cumulative circulation. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Nakabayashi Zun and written by Fukufuku, is serialized in Shoutotsu Publishing’s comic Grast. The story follows Siegbert, a boy who, after a life of misfortune, is reincarnated in another world as a “Lucky Person” with extraordinary talents. The series depicts his growth in a fantasy world as the strongest boy.
The anime is directed by Ikeda Shigetaka, with series composition and scripts by Mizuki Aki. Character designs are handled by Hara Yumiko and Nagata Yuuki, and animation production is by East Fish Studio.
The newly released teaser visual features a dynamic clash between the protagonist Siegbert and his brother Gelt, who harbors hatred toward him, accompanied by the tagline “Stand up—.”
Chiba Shouya, active both as a voice actor and artist, wrote the lyrics for “Luck Out.” The song will be used in an image PV scheduled for release in the summer. Chiba commented, “I am very honored to be in charge of the image song. After reading the original work, I felt it was a very gentle piece full of love for the people close to you. When you think you have ‘no luck’ or ‘are not blessed,’ you lose sight of your own uniqueness and strengths that you should have. I aimed to create a song that gives you the strength to even laugh off your own troubles and enjoy them. I hope you pay attention to the lyrics that carry those feelings. The song builds up excitement toward the end, and it turned out to be a really cool track. Please look forward to it!”
