TV anime Oshi no Ko has teamed up with Marriage Registration Factory, a company known for having the largest market share in marriage registration form sales in Japan, to release a special collaboration lineup. Starting June 26, 2026, fans can purchase a Marriage Registration Set (3,300 yen including tax), a Birth Registration Set (3,520 yen including tax), a Life-Size Poster (6,050 yen including tax), and a Clear File (550 yen including tax).
About Oshi no Ko
Created by Akasaka Aka and Yokoyari Mengo, Oshi no Ko is a manga that delves into the light and dark sides of the entertainment industry through meticulous research. The series began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in April 2020 and quickly gained support from many celebrities and industry insiders. The 16-volume series has surpassed 25 million copies in circulation worldwide. The first anime season aired in April 2023, receiving an overwhelming global response and attracting fans across generations.
A live-action drama began streaming on Amazon Prime Video in 2024, and the manga concluded in November of the same year. December 2024 saw a 2.5-dimensional stage play and a theatrical film release. The third anime season aired from January to March 2026, and a fourth and final season has been announced.
Why This Collaboration?
According to the announcement, the collaboration stems from the widespread culture of “oshi-katsu” (fan activities), where fans share daily life with their favorite characters via social media. Many fans have expressed a desire to “share important days with beloved characters,” and the number of people who display commemorative certificates at home after submitting official forms has been increasing year by year.
The trend of “oshi-kon” (oshi wedding) is also on the rise, with fans displaying these rare collaboration goods alongside other collection items to celebrate milestones with their favorite characters.
