The 12th and final episode of Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen 2nd Season (also known as Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2) ended with the announcement of a second cour on Sunday. The official website also released an announcement promotional video. The second cour is scheduled to premiere on MBS and TBS in October 2026.
Produced by Silver Link., the first season adapting Hitsuji Gondaira’s action comedy manga aired in April 2024. Hulu streamed it with subtitles and later with an English dub, while Disney+ streamed it worldwide. The second season debuted on April 12, and both Hulu and Disney+ streamed it with subtitles. The English dub is scheduled to release on Hulu on July 15.
Gondaira serialized the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump from August 2019 to January 2025. Shueisha published the 29th and final volume in March 2025. Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen has a cumulative 3.6 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
VIZ Media and Shueisha simulpublished the manga in English on its Manga Plus app and website. The former also releases the manga in physical format and shipped the 23rd volume on June 16. The 24th volume is planned for an August 18 release.
