From the summer anime Muujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tare Nagasu, the synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 1, titled “The Failure of the Sanchez Ducal House,” have been released. The episode is set to begin airing on June 30, 2026 (Tuesday).
The anime is based on the original work by Aamondo, with character drafts by Anbe Yoshirou and a manga adaptation by Etou Yona, published by Earth Star Entertainment in novel and comic formats. The series won the Encouragement Award at the 2nd Earth Star Novel Awards and has surpassed 1.8 million copies in cumulative sales. It tells a love story about Carolina, the daughter of a duke who is looked down upon as a failure, whose life changes dramatically when she enters a political marriage with the clumsy second prince of a neighboring country, Edward, and finds happiness.
Episode 1 Synopsis
Carolina is the second daughter of the prestigious Sanchez Ducal House in the Kingdom of Celestia. Unlike her sister Flora, who is considered a candidate for sainthood, Carolina is called a failure.
One day, a marriage proposal arrives for Carolina from Edward, the second prince of the Marcochias Empire…

Episode 1 of the summer anime Muujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tare Nagasu will air on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels starting June 30, 2026. Streaming will be available one week in advance on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and ABEMA from June 30, with other platforms following from July 7.
