The first voice drama for the coffee bean personification project “Isekai Kissa COFFEE STARS” has arrived. Titled Isekai Kissa COFFEE STARS Voice Drama (1), the digital download went on sale July 1, 2026 via BOOTH.
Set in a mysterious otherworldly café that only those in need of a break can find, COFFEE STARS features “Ikeoji” (cool older guy) baristas who embody the characteristics of coffee beans from around the world. The voice drama presents two stories in which these baristas serve a cup of coffee to troubled customers, aiming to make coffee more familiar and enjoyable through character-driven narratives.
Episode 1: Brazil Santos No.2
Episode 2: Indonesia Mandheling G1
The first volume includes Episode 1 “Brazil Santos No.2” and Episode 2 “Indonesia Mandheling G1.” In Episode 1, a woman named Sayaka, struggling with work, stumbles into the café and meets the smooth-talking yet mature barista Brazil Santos No.2, voiced by Junichi Suwabe. In Episode 2, a young man named Yoshihiko, feeling lost in life, encounters the bold and hearty master Indonesia Mandheling G1, voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto. Each story runs approximately 28 minutes and is designed to offer a warm, lingering aftertaste like a good cup of coffee.
