“There’s No Turning Back!” Hiei’s Dragon of the Darkness Flame Erupts in New Yu Yu Hakusho Figure

“There’s no turning back!” Hiei’s signature attack, the Dragon of the Darkness Flame (Jagan Enshou Kokuryuuha), has been captured in a stunning new figure. The “Yu Yu Hakusho DRESSTA Hiei” is now available for pre-order exclusively at the EC site TAITO GEAR & GOODS, with orders open from June 30, 2026.

About Yu Yu Hakusho

Created by Togashi Yoshihiro, Yu Yu Hakusho was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1994. The story follows protagonist Urameshi Yusuke, who dies in an accident and is resurrected as a Spirit Detective. Alongside his allies Kuwabara Kazuma, Kurama, and Hiei, Yusuke battles evil demons and grows stronger. The TV anime aired 112 episodes from October 1992, and a live-action drama was released on Netflix in December 2023.

Figure Details

This figure depicts Hiei, the former thief and demon with the power of the Jagan (evil eye). Originally ruthless, Hiei changes after meeting Yusuke and becomes a comrade. The “DRESSTA Hiei” captures his sharp, piercing gaze and the moment he unleashes the Dragon of the Darkness Flame, rendered with clear parts for the black dragon effect.

The sculpt emphasizes Hiei’s small frame yet intense fighting spirit. The pose freezes the instant before the attack is released, with a coiled tension that explodes into motion, and his lethal glare conveys the power of the technique.

The base features a dynamic silhouette with the black dragon’s coils spreading outward, enveloping the entire figure. The effect parts create a sense of volume and impact, making it a striking display piece that condenses the explosive moment of the attack.

Pre-order and Release

Pre-orders are open until August 14, 2026 (Friday) at 23:59 JST. The figure is scheduled to ship in November 2026.
