Fancl’s eye health supplement brand “enkin” has launched a collaboration campaign to support the production team of the TV anime The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto). The campaign invites fans to send support messages on X (formerly Twitter), and the special campaign page also features interviews with the production team and a special message for the upcoming third season.
About the Anime
The Apothecary Diaries is a massively popular palace mystery entertainment series set in the imperial court, following the story of Maomao, a young girl serving as a “poison taster” who solves various difficult cases. With over 45 million copies in circulation, the series has captivated audiences with its compelling heroine, intricate mysteries, and exotic world-building. The TV anime celebrated its second anniversary on October 22, 2025, and has since announced the production of a third season and the series’ first theatrical film. The third season is scheduled to air in two split cours starting October 2026, while The Apothecary Diaries: The Lost Heirloom of the Deposed Consort is set for release on December 11, 2026.
Campaign Details
According to a survey conducted by Fancl on eye-related concerns, approximately one in three modern people have given up on something they love due to eye strain. This collaboration focuses on the creators who work long hours using their eyes, and aims to support the Apothecary Diaries production team as they work toward the third season and the film. As part of the initiative, the production team received “enkin Premium” products, and a call for support messages has begun on X.

Prizes

As a special feature, the campaign page includes interviews with three key members of the production team, sharing their thoughts on the characters and story, as well as real voices from the production floor. The interviewees are:
