A new Ultraman goods shop, “ULTRA MART TOKYO,” opened in Harajuku on July 10, 2026, and it’s already making waves with a surprise collaboration: the adorable mofusand cats meet the iconic Ultra Heroes. We visited the store to check out the exclusive merchandise, interior, and more.
mofusand × Ultraman: A Cute Collision
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Ultraman. The new shop aims to become a landmark in Harajuku—a place where people gather, take photos, and share discoveries. The store will regularly refresh its themes, positioning itself as a “cultural intersection” where surprises await on every visit.
The first theme is “ULTRA CUTE,” and for it, Ultraman teams up with mofusand, the charming and slightly surreal cats created by illustrator Jyuno. mofusand has expanded into merchandise and collaborations, with three volumes of the book “Same-nyan” published by Shogakukan Creative, and an anime streaming on YouTube and other platforms since January 2026.
The collaboration goods include an accessory plush dressed as Ultraman Tiga, who is celebrating his 30th anniversary this year and enjoys global popularity. This plush is a store-exclusive item. Also available are mascot keychains of Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, and Ultraman Zero, as well as pins and Pigmon goods.
Symbol Display: Ultra Monument
At the center of the store, a gleaming silver monument of Ultraman Tiga stands about 3 meters tall. Set in a space with mirrored walls, it embodies the theme “Intersection of Future and Harajuku” and offers a perfect photo spot for fans.
To celebrate the opening, a “Meet & Greet with Ultraman and Ultraman Kaiju” is held daily. Character appearances and participation details will be announced on official social media.
