JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2026 Launches July 16 with Exclusive Prizes and 30th Anniversary Starters

JR East has announced a new collaboration with the TV anime Pokémon titled “JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2026,” running from July 16 to August 31, 2026. The event invites fans to collect stamps at stations across the Tokyo metropolitan area and earn exclusive rewards, including items featuring the iconic “three starters” from each generation of Pokémon.

The stamp rally will be held at 36 stations in total: 35 JR East stations in the greater Tokyo area plus one Tokyo Monorail station. Participants can obtain a stamp booklet from major stations and Shinkansen stamp stations starting July 16, or purchase a special edition booklet at select NewDays stores from the same date.

Four courses are available: the 6-station course, 9-station course, 36-station course, and Shinkansen course. Each course offers limited-quantity, first-come-first-served prizes that cannot be obtained elsewhere.

Prizes include a “Special Ticket-Style Sticker” and a “Pokémon Frenda Special Extra Treasure Pick Captain Pikachu” for the 6-station course, a “Special Neck Strap” for the 9-station course, a “Special Keyholder” for the 36-station course, and a “Special Medal” for the Shinkansen course.

The stamp designs and prizes celebrate Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, featuring the beloved “three starters” from each generation—the Pokémon that begin every Trainer’s journey.

In addition to the stamp rally, several related events will take place. A Honda Coraidon display will be set up at OIMACHI TRACKS (about a 3-minute walk from JR Ōimachi Station). Pokémon wrapping trains will run on the Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tōhoku Line, and Chūō Line Rapid, decorated with Meowscarada, Quaquaval, Skeledirge, Koraidon, and Miraidon.

Photo spots with wall decorations will appear at Tokyo Station’s Silver Bell Plaza, Waters Takeshiba, and OIMACHI TRACKS. At Waters Takeshiba, a special overlay stamp that combines four stamps into one complete illustration will be available.

Visitors can also enjoy greeting sessions with Captain Pikachu at OIMACHI TRACKS and Waters Takeshiba, and receive a sun visor at the 6-station course goal counter.

The “JR East Pokémon Stamp Rally 2026” runs from July 16 to August 31, 2026. Prize redemption is available until September 1. For full details, check the official website.
