Fashion magazine CanCam’s popular “CanCam Night Pool” event (held at Tokyo Prince Hotel GARDEN POOL) returns for its 10th anniversary in 2026, and this year it joins forces with another milestone: the 25th anniversary of the beloved manga and anime series Mirmo de Pon!. The collaboration marks the first character tie-up in the night pool’s history, running for one week from July 31 to August 6, 2026.
Created by Shinozuka Hiromu, Mirmo de Pon! began serialization in Shogakukan’s Ciao magazine in 2001. The story follows middle school student Kaede and the mischievous love fairy Mirmo, who appears from her mug, in a chaotic romantic comedy. The anime adaptation aired from 2002 to 2005, achieving a peak viewership of 9.4% and earning a prime-time slot. In recent years, the series has seen a resurgence thanks to the “Heisei retro” boom, with multiple apparel collaborations and a new sequel series, Mirmo de Pon! Nyuu, which began in March 2026 after a 21-year hiatus.
During the collaboration week, the poolside will be transformed into a special space where fans can dive into the world of Mirmo. A one-of-a-kind Mirmo float will be on display, and a limited number of mug-shaped floats will be available for rent. Photo spots will be set up throughout the area, offering plenty of Instagram-worthy moments.
Exclusive collaboration goods will also be sold at the venue’s pop-up shop from July 31 to August 6. The lineup includes clear and aurora-finish items perfect for the poolside, as well as everyday-use accessories. Online sales begin July 15 on the official EC site.
