From July 18 to August 31, 2026, the official Pokémon merchandise stores known as Pokémon Center will host the “Pokémon Center Narikiri Summer!” event. During this period, Pokémon Centers across Japan will offer a variety of special activities designed to let visitors become whoever they want to be.
Three Ways to Dress Up
The event focuses on three role-play themes: “Become a Pokémon Trainer!” “Become a Pokémon!” and “Become a Game Hero!”
Trainer Sticker for Bringing Your Partner
Visitors who come to a Pokémon Center with their partner Pokémon (presumably a plush or similar) will receive one “Hello! Pokémon Trainer Sticker.”
Pokémon Fit Purchase Bonus
For each purchase of a palm-sized plush from the “Pokémon fit” series, customers will receive one clear shopper bag and a number of background sheets equal to the number of plushies bought.
Pokémon Pose Sticker
During the event, anyone who strikes a Pokémon-like pose in front of store staff will receive one “Hello! Pokémon Sticker.”
Narikiri Greeting Event
A special “Narikiri Greeting” will also be held, where Pokémon such as Pikachu in a happy summer style will appear. Participants in this greeting can also get the “Hello! Pokémon Sticker.”
Pokémon Close-Up T-Shirts
Starting July 18, the “Pokémon Close-Up T-Shirt” line will be available. These T-shirts feature large, impactful designs of Pokémon faces, letting fans choose their favorite Pokémon to wear.
Game Events Galore
Throughout the event period, Pokémon Centers will host a variety of game-related activities. These include a “Become a Ditto! ‘Poko a Pokémon’ Town-Building Trial” for the game Poko a Pokémon, a battle event titled “Gather! Water-Type Heroes! Z-A Battle Club ~2026 Summer~” for Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A, as well as events for Pokémon Champions and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Game Hero Sticker
Participants in these game events, as well as those who help liven them up, will receive one “Hello! Game Hero Sticker.”
Special Medal via Pokémon HOME
By holding a smartphone version of Pokémon HOME near a dedicated panel set up at stores, visitors can obtain a special medal featuring the “Pokémon Center Narikiri Summer!” logo.
Pokémon GO Stamp Rally
Since July 1, the “GO Stamp Rally” feature in Pokémon GO has added a new course called “Pokémon Center Stamp Rally 2026,” which takes players to 18 PokéStops at Pokémon Centers and the Pokémon GO Lab across Japan.
