Monchhichi fans can now decorate their phones with a touch of retro charm. The new “Monchhichi DECOLOOP” smartphone accessories launched on July 17, 2026, blending the beloved plush character with the bead-accessory culture that captivated girls during the Heisei flip-phone era.

First released in 1974 by Sekiguchi Co., Ltd., Monchhichi is a soft plush doll with a pacifier pose and cute freckles, featuring a soft body and vinyl head, arms, and feet. The design sparked a massive boom in Japan and soon became a global favorite.
The DECOLOOP series updates that nostalgic bead charm trend for the Reiwa generation. Those who remember the original craze will feel a wave of nostalgia, while younger users can enjoy a fresh, retro-cute look.

The collection includes six different designs, each featuring Monchhichi or Baby Chitchi with colorful ribbons and beads. The accessories are sold in blind boxes, so the exact design is a surprise until opened — adding a fun collecting element.
Each accessory comes with a deco sticker sheet that can be applied to the main body, allowing users to create a one-of-a-kind smartphone charm. It can also be used as a bag charm.
The Monchhichi DECOLOOP is priced at 1,760 yen (tax included) and went on sale July 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM via the TOKOTOYZ official website, Amazon, Rakuten, Qoo10, TikTok Shop, Mercari SHOP, and other online platforms. It is also scheduled to arrive at Loft, Loft Net Store, and variety shops from early August 2026 (excluding some locations).
