Snoopy is getting a fresh summer look with a new line of accessories featuring classic gingham check patterns. The “【PEANUTS】Snoopy Gingham Check Series” from cosmetics and character goods company SHOBIDO (粧美堂) is now on sale, offering a range of pouches and hair accessories that blend playful charm with a touch of adult sophistication.
Charles M. Schulz’s beloved comic strip PEANUTS first appeared in seven U.S. newspapers on October 2, 1950. Following the everyday lives of Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang, the strip has been cherished worldwide for over 75 years. In Japan, the late poet Shuntaro Tanikawa completed the full Japanese translation of every episode, and the Snoopy Museum in Machida, Tokyo, serves as the only official satellite of the Schulz Museum & Research Center in California.
The new Gingham Check Series features five items in a summery gingham motif: a drawstring pouch (巾着), a mini pouch (ミニポーチ), a coin purse (ガマ口ポーチ), scrunchies (シュシュ), and a hair clip (バンスクリップ).
