A new collaboration café themed around the beloved Sumikko Gurashi characters is set to open at TOWER RECORDS CAFE in Omotesando. Titled “Sumikko Gurashi Tenshi to Akuma no Shippozu Café,” the pop-up will run from July 23 to August 23, 2026, offering exclusive menus, drinks, and merchandise featuring the characters in angel and devil costumes.
The café will be divided into two periods: the first from July 23 to August 7, and the second from August 8 to August 23. Each period will feature different designs for the special trading cards and some limited-time sweets. Guests who make a reservation in advance will receive a smartphone-sized sticker for each reserved seat.
Menu Highlights
Food items available throughout both periods include the “Neko to Ebi Ten no Shippo no Tenshi na Cream Sauce Nyokki” and the “Tonkatsu to Ebi Fry no Shippo no Akuma na Black Curry.” These hearty dishes are designed to be both photogenic and satisfying. A special dessert, the “Tenshi to Akuma no Shippozu no Donut Plate,” features soy milk donuts, tea, and vanilla ice cream, and is also available across both periods.
For the first period only, guests can enjoy the “Shirokuma to Aji Fry no Shippo no Tenshi na Cake Plate,” while the second period offers the “Penguin? to Tokage no Akuma na Wagashi Plate.”
Drink options include colorful beverages such as “Shirokuma no Strawberry Milk,” “Penguin? no Green Apple Lemonade,” “Tonkatsu no Hot Print Latte,” “Neko no Fruit Mix Juice,” and “Tokage no Blue Soda.” Takeout drinks are also available: the “Original Bottle Drink Tenshi ver.” (first period only) and “Original Bottle Drink Akuma ver.” (second period only). Each takeout order comes with a postcard.
Exclusive Goods and Bonuses
For every food, sweet, or drink item ordered, guests will receive one random trading card. There are eight designs for the first period (angel ver.) and eight for the second (devil ver.). Ordering a three-item set (one food, one sweet, one drink) allows guests to choose an additional card of their preferred design. The special donut plate dessert also comes with a bonus postcard.
The café will sell a variety of limited-edition goods, including acrylic keyholders (12 types, 880 yen each), random acrylic mascots (6 types per theme, 770 yen each), tote bags (3,300 yen each), and custom tumblers (2,200 yen each). The keyholders come in heart shapes for the angel theme and star shapes for the devil theme.
All goods are available only to customers dining inside the café, and stock is limited. Updates on availability and restocks will be posted on the store’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
