From the summer anime Mushoku Tensei III: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, the synopsis and preview cuts for episode 4, titled “Suio-kyuu Majutsushi” (Water King Class Mage), have been released. The episode is set to air on July 19, 2026 (Sunday) on TOKYO MX and other stations.
Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu is a landmark isekai reincarnation light novel series by Rifujin na Magonote, with a cumulative print run of 18 million copies. The story follows a 34-year-old NEET who dies in a traffic accident and is reborn as a baby in a world of swords and magic. As the boy Rudeus, he uses his past life memories and regrets to live seriously this time, facing encounters and trials in a grand adventure.
After the first season in January 2021 and the second in July 2023, the grown Rudeus has overcome many hardships and begun building a new family. The third season, directed by Shibuya Ryousuke and animated by Studio Bind, delves deeper into his life.
Episode 4 “Suio-kyuu Majutsushi” Synopsis
Rudeus obtains a new prosthetic left hand, “Zarifu no Gishu” (Zarif’s prosthetic hand), with the help of Zanoba and Cliff.
However, danger to his family may loom again.
Driven by the thought “I don’t want to lose anyone anymore,” Rudeus continues his research and finally asks Roxy to teach him Water King Class magic.
Episode 4 of Mushoku Tensei III airs on July 19 (Sunday) on TOKYO MX and other channels.
