Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary Project

Ultraman first appeared on television on July 10, 1966. For six decades, the series has evolved with the times, delivering courage, hope, and compassion. The 60th anniversary project aims to share the depth and universal themes of the Ultraman stories with both longtime fans and new audiences, ensuring the franchise continues to be loved across generations and borders.
This new art object is born from a shared message of “protecting the Earth” between Ultraman and hide k 1896. It combines TRANSWOOD, advanced Japanese 3D printing technology, and the traditional craft of kintsugi (gold repair) to create a one-of-a-kind artwork.

Kintsugi: A Symbol of Connection

Kintsugi is not merely decorative. It is a symbol of Japan’s rich craft culture, mending broken pieces and imbuing them with new value. On this 33 cm (one shaku one sun) figure, the golden lines represent the bonds of hope that connect generations, strengthening ties that are passed down through time.
