The official website for the original television anime Vertex Force has unveiled the main cast, first key visual, and first main promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV at 11:30 p.m. on October 3.

Kazuhiro Takamura (Strike Witches) is directing the anime at Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment, with Gorou Kuji (Bungou to Alchemist: Shinpan no Haguruma) serving as assistant director. Kazuhiro Takamura and Masashi Suzuki (Yuusha Party wo Oidasareta Kiyoubinbou) are handling series composition. Kazuhiro Takamura (Strike Witches) is also designing the characters, while Nobuaki Nobusawa (Steins;Gate 0) is composing the music.
Synopsis
Akira Toudou, a high schooler living in northern Okinawa, lives peacefully with his mother and his older sister Haruka. However, behind their peaceful life lies a secret passed down through their family: Haruka has inherited a mysterious power from their father, known only as “Engine,” and she has lived her life hiding this power from others.
Akira, however, inherited nothing. He harbors an inferiority complex due to his own weakness.
Then, strange events began to occur all over the world. What is the purpose of the unknown enemy closing in on Akira and his friends?
Now, with the fate of the universe at stake, a brother who has nothing and a sister who has everything must find out what they can really do together.
