New merchandise from the TV anime Sousou no Frieren is here to help fans beat the summer heat. COSPA has unveiled a lineup that includes a comfortable jinbei (traditional summer wear) and high-performance dry T-shirts, all featuring memorable moments from the series.
The original manga by Yamada Kanehito and illustrated by Abetsukasa launched its TV anime in September 2023. Set in a world after the Demon King has been defeated by heroes, the story follows the elf mage Frieren, who has lived for over a thousand years. Prompted by the death of her former companion, the hero Himmel, she embarks on a journey to understand humanity. The series balances comedic character interactions with serious magical battles, earning widespread popularity. The third season, the “Golden Land Arc,” is scheduled to begin airing in October 2027.
Mimic-Eaten Frieren Jinbei
The “Mimic-Eaten Frieren Jinbei” captures the iconic scene of Frieren being devoured by a mimic treasure chest. Made from breathable shijira-ori fabric, it feels smooth against the skin and resists sticking. Both the jacket and pants feature pockets for convenience, and the pants have an elastic waistband with a drawstring for a comfortable fit across various body types. Available in two colors: navy and rikyu-nezumi (a traditional grayish-brown).
Mine-for-300-Years Dry T-Shirt
The “Frieren ‘I Ended Up Working in the Mine for 300 Years’ Dry T-Shirt” features the expression from episode 33, “Logistics of the Northern Highlands,” which became a fan favorite. The design practically echoes her line, “I ended up working in the mine for 300 years. My journey ends here, I guess.” Don’t miss the detail on the back collar! This high-performance T-shirt offers excellent water absorption and quick-drying properties, plus UV protection with UPF20 and approximately 95% UV cut rate.
Displeased Face Dry T-Shirt
Another amusing design is the “Frieren Face Dry T-Shirt: Really Displeased Face Ver.,” based on her expression from episode 30, “The Hero of the South.” It also features UPF20 protection and stays comfortable even when sweating.
Everyday Items
Rounding out the collection are a compact foldable “Frieren Face Eco Bag,” an “Acrylic Multi Keyholder” (three types) that can be used in various ways with Fern and Stark, and a “Cleaner Cloth” (three types) handy for cleaning glasses or screens.
Release Information
General sales for all items begin in mid-October 2026, with pre-orders accepted until August 9. The jinbei and two T-shirts will be available early at the COSPA booth during Wonder Festival 2026 [Summer] on July 26.
