TV anime Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier) is teaming up with apparel brand SuperGroupies for a new line of apparel inspired by the series. The collection includes an outer coat modeled after the character Kieferry sensei and boots based on the magical “flying shoes” worn by witches in the story.
Kieferry Model Outer
The “Kieferry Model Outer” (29,700 yen each) is a long coat in a smoky color that recreates the look of Kieferry sensei’s mantle. The large collar and buttons from the original mantle have been adapted for real-world wear, and the removable hood features a pointed hat—the symbol of a witch. A tag printed with the magic circle of the new spell “Hokka Ishi” from the Orgio school is also attached.
Witch Hat Atelier Model Boots
The “Tongari Boushi no Atelier Model Boots” (22,000 yen each) are classical boots designed after the flying shoes worn by the story’s witches. The insole is printed with a beautiful view of the atelier, while the sole is engraved with a magic circle for soaring through the sky. The magic circle on the right and left soles fit together perfectly when the boots are placed side by side.
These collaboration items are packed with the charm of the series, allowing fans to bring the world of Tongari Boushi no Atelier into their everyday lives.
About the Series
Tongari Boushi no Atelier is a classic fantasy manga by Shirahama Kamome, serialized in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine. The story follows Coco, an ordinary girl who learns the hidden history of magic—a secret the adults have kept silent about—and steps into the mysterious world of witches alongside her friends at the atelier. The manga began serialization in 2016 and has surpassed 7.5 million copies in print worldwide. It has won manga awards in France, Spain, South Korea, and other countries, and in 2020 it received the Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia.
