Full Metal Panic! Arbalest Gets First-Ever Plastic Model with All Tactical Forms Fully Reproduced

KADOKAWA PLASTIC MODEL SERIES is bringing the iconic Arm Slave Arbalest from Full Metal Panic! to the plastic model world. This new kit marks the first time a plastic model has fully reproduced all three tactical forms of the mech. Reservations are now open at KADOKAWA’s official online shop Kadost for both the standard version and a limited “Special Set.” A promotional video featuring Sagara Sousuke (CV: Seki Tomokazu) and Al (CV: Murozono Takehito) has also been released.

A Faithful Recreation Under Ebikawa Kanemasa’s Supervision

Under the complete supervision of mecha designer Ebikawa Kanemasa, the 1/48 scale Arbalest stands approximately 177mm tall, packed with realistic mechanical details.

All Three Tactical Forms Fully Reproduced

For the first time in a plastic model, the kit can be assembled to display the normal form, the ECS (Electro Camouflage System) activation state, and the Lambda Driver activation state. The extensive articulation across the body allows for dynamic poses such as shooting and slashing.

Optional Parts and Kadost Bonus

The kit includes optional parts: the “Boxer” 57mm shotgun, a monomolecular cutter, anti-tank daggers, and hand grenades. As a purchase bonus at Kadost, an extra “Boxer” 57mm shotgun is included.

Special Set Adds Extra Parts and Premium Finishing

The Special Set, exclusive to Kadost, includes additional limited parts: wire gun firing reproduction parts, a silver-plated monomolecular cutter blade, and black-plated heat sink fin parts for the Lambda Driver. The set also comes with a special base designed by Ebikawa, featuring intricate detailing on both the base and support pillar. The package uses a newly drawn illustration by illustrator Morishita Naochika, and is designed to store both the standard package and the special set contents.

Pricing and Availability

The standard version is priced at 10,450 yen (tax included), while the Special Set is 14,300 yen (tax included). Reservations at Kadost are open until October 7. The product is scheduled for release in February 2027.
