A new pop-up shop for the TV anime Hozuki no Reitetsu is set to open at the Bushiroad Creative Store Akihabara main store from August 13 to August 23, 2026. Titled “TV Anime ‘Hozuki no Reitetsu’ POP UP SHOP in Bushiroad Creative Store Akihabara Main Store ~ Summer Festival ver. ~,” the event will feature a range of newly drawn summer festival-themed merchandise.
Hozuki no Reitetsu is a black comedy based on the manga by Eguchi Natsumi, serialized in Kodansha’s Morning magazine from 2011 to 2020. The story follows Hozuki (voiced by Yasumoto Hiroki), the chief assistant to the King of Hell, as he deals with the chaotic underworld, from lazy souls to the slacking Enma Daioh. The first TV anime season was produced by WIT Studio in 2014, while the second season was handled by Studio Deen in 2017–2018, with OADs also released.
This pop-up shop showcases new illustrations of Hozuki, Oka, Karakusa, Nasubi, and Hakutaku dressed in yukata for a summer festival. The lineup includes acrylic shikishi, acrylic stands, washi-style acrylic keychains, trading can badges, trading mini bromide sets, and trading senjafuda-style stickers.
Additional items include motif die-cut sticker sets, motif drawstring pouches, trading motif die-cast charms, a “Neko Yoshiyoshi-chan Ippai” deformable tote bag, a Neko Yoshiyoshi-chan eye mask, and a Neko Yoshiyoshi-chan folding fan. During the event, customers who spend 3,000 yen (tax included) per transaction will receive a random hologram sheet from five designs.
