Production company DMM pictures has opened the official website for the television anime adaptation of Miyuki Nakayama‘s boys love manga Shota Oni. The site revealed additional staff and a teaser promotional video on Friday. The anime is set to premiere in January 2027.

Noriko Hashimoto (Given: 10th Mix) is directing the anime, with Yuniko Ayana (Otome Kaijuu Caraméliser) handling the series composition.
Manga Background
Nakayama originally began the manga on their X (formerly Twitter) and Pixiv accounts in August 2020. Square Enix began serializing the title under its Gangan BLiss label on the Comic CMOA website in September 2021. The seventh volume was published on March 21. The manga is also available on Renta!, eBookJapan, BookLive, and Manga UP!
