The TV anime Meitantei Precure! has revealed the synopsis and preview cuts for episode 30, titled “Eclipse Shadow,” which is set to air on August 23, 2026.
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd entry in the Precure franchise, featuring a detective motif and the theme “See, feel, think, and find the true answer yourself.” The story follows 14-year-old middle schooler Akechi Anna, who is guided by the fairy Pochitan and a pendant, and time-travels from 2027 to 1999 Makoto Mirai City. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, a girl who dreams of becoming a detective. When a case occurs involving the Phantom Thief group, the two transform into Precure to protect everyone’s smiles through deduction.
Episode 30 “Eclipse Shadow” Synopsis
During summer vacation, Anna and the others help student council president Rei take care of the flower beds at Makoto Mirai Gakuen. The chairman appears, and work is progressing smoothly. Kurea recalls that she also tended the garden at the London Curette detective agency. Then Rei notices that only the zinnia flowers that were blooming have been cut off.
Kurea investigates with the Prekit Mirror Loupe, finding cut stems and footprints. Kurea deduces who did it, but Anna wonders why. Kurea smiles and says, “It’s simple. It’s because of Rei’s enthusiasm and kindness.”
