Pre-orders have opened for a new 1/4 scale statue of Albedo from the anime Overlord, titled “Albedo ED Ver.” The product is scheduled for release between January and April 2028.
Overlord is a dark fantasy light novel series written by Maruyama Kugane and published by KADOKAWA. The story follows a player who is transported to a world similar to the virtual reality game he was playing, taking on the role of the powerful skeleton mage Ainz Ooal Gown as he seeks to conquer the world. The TV anime first aired in July–September 2015, followed by a second season in 2018, a third in 2018, and a fourth in 2022. A theatrical compilation of the first season was released in 2017, and the series’ first fully new theatrical film, Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, premiered in September 2024.
Now, the Premium Masterline series brings Albedo to life in a 1/4 scale statue inspired by the ending illustration from the first season. That artwork, created by so-bin, captured Albedo’s essence alongside a passionate song, leaving a lasting impression on fans. This statue meticulously reproduces that iconic image, with careful attention to composition, sculpting, and coloring to express her uncontrollable emotions. The pose—lying on her back with arms thrown out—blends the sacred and the profane.
The angle of Albedo’s upward gaze and the base have been set so that her alluring charm is felt directly by the viewer.
