The upcoming film Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten has revealed a charming new line of merchandise featuring six magical girls holding balloons. The goods will go on sale at Animate stores and Animate Online from October 24, 2026, with a special “Balloon Fair” running alongside the release.
New Goods Featuring the Magical Girls
The lineup includes Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura, Mami Tomoe, and Nagisa Momoe, all drawn in new illustrations with balloons in hand.
The standard acrylic stand is available in six types, each priced at 1,980 yen (tax included).
Also available are holo character badge collections (six types, 550 yen per pack, 3,300 yen per box) and stickers (six types, 550 yen each).
Fans can also pick up ribbon-accented acrylic keychains (six types, 1,650 yen each).

Balloon Fair Details
From October 24 to November 15, 2026, all Animate stores and Animate Online will host the “Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten Balloon Fair.” During the period, for every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on character goods, or for each book or audio-visual product purchased or preordered (with a deposit of 1,100 yen or more), customers will receive one random bromide (photo) from six types.
About the Series
Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica originally aired as a 12-episode TV anime in January 2011. Directed by Shinbou Akiyuki, written by Urobuchi Gen (Nitroplus), with character designs by Aoki Ume and animation by Shaft, the series became a phenomenon for its blend of everyday life and unpredictable, thrilling storytelling. The story follows protagonist Madoka Kaname as she encounters a mysterious world of magical girls.
In 2012, two compilation films—[Zenshou] Hajimari no Monogatari and [Koushou] Eien no Monogatari—were released, followed by the new film [Shinpen] Hangyaku no Monogatari in 2013. The latest film, Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten, is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on August 28, 2026.
