Fans of Cardcaptor Sakura can now bring a little bit of Sakura’s magic into their daily health routine. Tanita has teamed up with the beloved anime to release three exclusive collaboration products: a voice-guided body composition scale, a voice timer, and a digital kitchen scale. All three items are currently available for pre-order.
About Cardcaptor Sakura
Based on the manga by CLAMP, Cardcaptor Sakura follows Kinomoto Sakura, a young girl who accidentally releases magical Clow Cards from a mysterious book. As a “Cardcaptor,” she must recapture the cards to prevent disaster. The anime has aired three series: “Clow Card Arc,” “Sakura Card Arc,” and “Clear Card Arc.”
Three Collaboration Products
Voice Body Composition Scale (BC-204L Cardcaptor Sakura Model) – 24,750 yen
This scale features voice guidance recorded specifically for this product by Kinomoto Sakura (voiced by Tange Sakura). It not only guides you through setup and measurement but also offers words of encouragement based on your results. Measure consecutively for over a week or two weeks, and you’ll hear different supportive messages. The scale supports Bluetooth, allowing you to sync data to the TANITA Record and Health Planet smartphone apps for easy tracking. The design features a magic circle illustration across the body, with the series title and a pink gradient on the back.
Voice Timer (TD-436 Cardcaptor Sakura Model) – 4,950 yen
Also based on the “Clear Card Arc,” this timer announces the end of your set time with newly recorded messages and music from Sakura. When you start it, you’ll hear “Sakura and I, Release!” as well as the special sound “Absolutely, you’ll be fine!” You can choose from five alarm sounds, including the opening theme “CLEAR” and a message saying “Time’s up! You’ve done your best!” The front features Sakura in her battle costume from the “Clear Card Arc” opening.
Digital Kitchen Scale (KJ-212 Cardcaptor Sakura Model) – 4,400 yen
Collaborating with the “Clow Card Arc,” this kitchen scale showcases the Clow Book and the Sealed Staff on its weighing plate. It can measure up to 2kg and includes a “trace mode” for measurements from 0.1g. The removable silicone cover is washable, and two recipe cards for Sakura-themed bento boxes are included.
Tanita Shokudo Collaboration Bento Boxes
To celebrate the collaboration, Tanita Shokudo’s main store in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, will offer two limited-edition bento boxes inspired by Cardcaptor Sakura. These are available by reservation only, starting September 14 at 2:00 PM on the special website.
“Tanita Shokudo Collaboration Menu: Sakura-chan’s Omurice with Creamy Soy Milk Tomato Sauce Bento” is a Tanita-style twist on the omurice that Sakura’s older brother, Kinomoto Touya, often cooks for the family dinner.
“Tanita Shokudo Collaboration Menu: Syaoran-kun’s Special Colorful Chinese Bowl Bento” is inspired by Li Syaoran, a character from Hong Kong, and arranges Tanita Shokudo’s Chinese menu into a bento. Both are priced at 1,560 yen (tax included) and contain at least 120g of vegetables, which is one-third of the recommended daily vegetable intake.
Additionally, each bento purchase includes an original illustration card designed with a Clow Card motif.
Pre-Order Details
The three products are exclusively available for pre-order on the Tanita Online Shop. Orders are accepted from August 25, 2026, until September 18 at 3:00 PM. Shipments are expected to begin in late January 2027.
