The official website for the Kaze wo Tsugumono television anime announced five new cast members on Wednesday. The series is scheduled to premiere in January 2027 at 11:30 p.m. on the Agaru Anime programming block, airing on CBC and TBS’ 28 affiliated stations.

Kawamura Tomohiro directs the anime at Drive and Live2D Creative Studio. Mashiba Azuki provides original work cooperation, with Ebina Fumi handling character designs and Kishida Shigeru composing the music.
Playwright Narui Yutaka, founder of the theater troupe Caramel Box, is penning the script. He is known for the Tachikawa Jinsuke stage play series, including the Shinsengumi-themed Kaze wo Tsugumono . Narui is also co-credited for the original work with Aniplex.
