On Friday, the romantic comedy manga Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito (My Crush’s Crush) by Sekina Aoi and Ryou Tsuzura received a TV anime adaptation announcement. Tsuzura drew a commemorative illustration to celebrate the news.
The manga began serialization in Young Animal Zero magazine in November 2022. Hakusensha released the sixth volume on February 27, and the seventh volume is scheduled for August 28. Yen Press licensed the manga in English on August 22.
Synopsis
Sora Akizuki, a second-year high school student, gets rejected by his junior and crush, Miya Fuwa, because she is in love with Asahi Suzukaze—the president of the Clinical Trials Club. To learn more, Sora joins the club, only to discover that Asahi has a crush on the “Clinical Trials Prince”—a boy who saved her through a clinical trial program when she was sick as a child. Unbeknownst to everyone, that childhood prince is actually Sora himself from his elementary school days.
