Anime Adaptation Announced
An anime adaptation of the spin-off manga Baki Gaiden: Retsu Kaiou wa Isekai Tensei shitemo Ikkou ni Kamawan! by Ihara Daisuke and Mutsui Eiji was announced on Monday, along with a promotional video. The anime is being produced by TMS Entertainment.
Manga Background
The manga began serialization in Monthly Shounen Champion magazine in November 2020. Akita Shoten published the 16th volume on March 6.
Related Baki Anime
TMS Entertainment also adapted the Hanma Baki sequel manga, Baki-dou, for Netflix. The first part premiered on February 26, followed by the second part on June 18.
Synopsis
After the events of Baki-dou, the famous kenpo master Kaiou Retsu wakes up in a new world unknown to him.
