The upcoming movie Eiga Meitantei Purikyua! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu — better known to fans as TanPri — is collaborating with sushi chain Kappa Sushi. The full details of the campaign are set to be revealed on September 10, 2026, and the initial announcement has already brought a wave of enthusiastic reactions from fans.
Exclusive illustrations for the collaboration
The collaboration will feature brand-new original illustrations of all four main characters, drawn specifically for this tie-up. These visuals will be exclusive to Kappa Sushi and are described as extremely valuable one-of-a-kind artwork. Full visuals, product details, and any additional plans are scheduled to be announced on September 10.
TanPri is the 23rd installment in the Precure series. The story follows protagonist Akechi Anna, who travels back to 1999 and tackles various cases at the Kyatto Detective Agency. The movie, Eiga Meitantei Purikyua! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu, is the series’ first theatrical film and opens nationwide on September 18.

The Kappa Sushi official X account announced the tie-up on August 30, posting: “Kappa Sushi × Movie TanPri campaign confirmed! Details will be announced on 9/10 (Thu)! Stay tuned.” Fans quickly filled the replies with comments like “I have to go!” and “Looks like I’ll be living on kappa sushi for a while.” Others wrote, “I’ve never been to Kappa Sushi, but I might finally go now” and “I must keep eating sushi…”
