The official website for the Dragon Ball franchise has unveiled the main staff, theme songs, and a new promotional video for the upcoming television anime Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. The series, produced by Toei Animation, is described as a complete reconstruction of the Dragon Ball Super story, featuring new cuts and redrawn scenes. It is set to premiere on October 11 at 11:15 p.m. on Fuji TV’s nationwide network.

Theme Songs
Singer-songwriter Megatera Zero (Mononogatari 2nd Season) performs the opening theme “ONOGAMI,” while Vickeblanka (Black Clover) performs the ending theme “Kan Peki No Peki.” Both songs are previewed in the promotional video released alongside the announcement.
Background
The original Dragon Ball Super anime aired for 131 episodes from Summer 2015 to Spring 2018. The franchise continued with the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie in December 2018 and the sequel Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in June 2022, which grossed over 2.51 billion yen (approximately US$92.1 million) worldwide. More recently, Dragon Ball Daima, a side story anime, aired in 20 episodes from Fall 2024 to Winter 2025, with Crunchyroll simulcasting it and planning a home video release on March 3.
The Dragon Ball Super manga, written by Toriyama Akira and illustrated by Toyotarou, began serialization in V-Jump magazine in June 2015. Shueisha released the 24th volume on April 4 last year, and VIZ Media shipped the English edition on March 3.
