The TV anime Pocket Monsters is currently airing every Friday at 6:55 p.m. on TV Tokyo. On September 18, 2026, the series will broadcast a special collaboration episode with the smartphone location-based game Pokemon GO, titled “Hirogaru Sekai, Kimi to GO!” (A World Expanding, GO with You!). New footage has also been released to build anticipation for the episode.
Episode 150: “Hirogaru Sekai, Kimi to GO!”
In the 150th episode, airing on September 18, Liko and the others will take on fieldwork together with Professor Willow from Pokemon GO. A familiar sight from the game, PokeStops, will also appear, making for a key highlight.
Liko and her friends are invited by Friede to join a fieldwork expedition. Accompanying them is Professor Willow, who travels the world researching Pokemon. During their investigation, the group hears the story of how Friede first met his Lizardon. It turns out this happened when Friede was still a child and Lizardon was still a Hitokage. The episode will reveal how the two first crossed paths.
In the newly released footage, viewers can spot a Hitokage that can also be caught in Pokemon GO. A young Friede and Hitokage are also visible. What kind of encounter led to the bond between Friede and Lizardon? The broadcast on the 18th is not to be missed.
In-Game “TV Anime Collab” Event
Additionally, a “TV Anime Collab” event will be held in Pokemon GO. From September 16 to September 22, Hitokage, Lizardo, and Lizardon wearing Friede’s goggles will appear in the game. Promotional Code and More
The collaboration episode “Hirogaru Sekai, Kimi to GO!” will air on September 18. During the broadcast, a promotional code will be announced that guarantees an encounter with a “Hitokage wearing Friede’s goggles” with a special background.
