Adachitoka, the creator of Noragami, has announced their next manga series. On Friday, the creator took to X to reveal that Yadoya no Oinu-sama (The Inn’s Noble Dog) will begin serialization in Monthly Shounen Magazine on October 6. It will be the first new series from Adachitoka since Noragami ended in February 2024.
The new manga follows Kuromine Kasumi, a girl who slips off a mountainside during a school trip and ends up in a strange world protected by a dog-like spirit.
For those unfamiliar with Adachitoka’s previous work, Noragami began serialization in Monthly Shounen Magazine in December 2010. The series concluded with its 27th volume in February 2024, and has over 8 million copies in circulation. Bones produced two television anime seasons, which aired in Winter 2014 and Fall 2015, with Funimation handling the English simulcast and dub. Kodansha USA released the manga in English, with the final volume arriving in December 2024.
