Godiva Halloween Collection 2026: Black Cats, Ghosts, and Sanrio’s Pompompurin & Kuromi

Godiva Japan has unveiled its 2026 Halloween lineup, the “Godiva Black Cat Collection,” which will be released sequentially from September 9. This year’s theme is an “adult cute” black cat design illustrated by Paris-based artist Natalie Lete, and it brings back Sanrio favorites Pompompurin and Kuromi for special collaborations.

A Spooky-Cute Collaboration with Sanrio

The collection celebrates the 30th anniversary of Pompompurin in 2026, while Kuromi returns after a well-received collaboration in 2025. Both characters appear in black cat form, adding a playful twist to the Halloween season.

Core Chocolate Assortments

The “Godiva Black Cat Collection G Chocolat Assortment 9 Pieces” features three flavors—milk salt caramel ganache, milk apple ganache, and dark raspberry—packed in a cylindrical box decorated with black cats and ghosts. It’s positioned as a perfect gift for Halloween or for cat lovers, and equally suitable as a self-treat.

For those who prefer a lighter bite, the “G Crispy Chocolat Assortment 3 Pieces” offers three pieces of crispy waffle chocolate in a package adorned with the same black cat and ghost artwork. This compact option works well as a small Halloween treat or a mini gift.

Online Shop Exclusives with Plush Charms

Godiva’s online shop will carry exclusive sets featuring Sanrio characters. The “G Chocolat Assortment 3 Pieces + Pompompurin Pouch” combines three chocolates with a Pompompurin pouch, celebrating the character’s 30th anniversary.

Two plush charm sets are also available. The “G Crispy Chocolat Assortment 3 Pieces + Pompompurin Plush Charm” includes an original design where Pompompurin wears a black cat hood that can be removed. Similarly, the “G Crispy Chocolat Assortment 3 Pieces + Kuromi Plush Charm” features Kuromi in a black cat outfit, also with a detachable hood. The Kuromi set will be available from October 1.

The collection also includes a “Carré Assortment 4 Pieces with Pouch,” which pairs milk and 50% dark chocolate squares with a polka-dot pouch featuring a black cat design. The pouch is reusable, making it a practical keepsake.
