The TV anime Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd entry in the Precure franchise. The story begins when Akechi Anna, who turns 7 in 2027, meets a fairy named Pochitan and is enveloped in a mysterious light, sending her back to 1999. There, she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, who dreams of becoming a detective, and the self-proclaimed genius doctor fairy Jet-senpai.
