The TV anime adaptation of the manga “Kashita Maryoku wa [Ribobarai] de Kyousei Choushuu” has unveiled a second promotional video, along with new cast and theme song information. The series is scheduled to begin airing on October 3, 2026, on the TV Asahi network across 24 stations, among other channels.

The anime is based on the manga by Masakichi (original story) and Shingo Iijima (art), serialized in COMIC Meteore. The series has surpassed 2 million copies in cumulative circulation. Set in a world where the “Gifts” bestowed by the creator god shape one’s life, the story follows Rento, a protagonist with the Gift of “forced collection” of the vast magical power he has lent out. After being betrayed by his former party members, he collects their magic and grows stronger in this tale of revenge. Directed by Takahiro, the animation is produced by SynergySP. The cast includes Reiji Kawashima as Rento, Emiri Kato as MP, Risa Matsuda as Linka, Daiki Hamano as Gai, Akira Sekine as Misa, and Yuu Kobayashi as El.
The second PV captures the beginning of this magic collection and management fantasy, starting from Rento’s expulsion from the party. With new companions, the adventures that await him are sure to excite.
It has also been revealed that Daisuke Namikawa will voice Roger, the leader of the A-rank party “Meteor Shower.” Namikawa commented, “Roger is in a big-brother position, showing various expressions—gentle, stern, and cool. I hope to watch the main characters’ struggles, negotiations, and growth together with everyone. What is a revolving payment? That’s important.”

Additionally, the theme songs have been announced. The opening theme is “Risk Rate” by BUDDiiS, and the ending theme is “Iremono” by Kotani. Both artists have provided comments on their songs.

Daisuke Namikawa (as Roger)
“Roger is in a big-brother position, showing various expressions—gentle, stern, and cool. I hope to watch the main characters’ struggles, negotiations, and growth together with everyone. What is a revolving payment? That’s important.”

BUDDiiS (SHOW)
“The opening theme for the TV anime ‘Kashita Maryoku wa [Ribobarai] de Kyousei Choushuu’ is our new song ‘Risk Rate’! When you gain or choose something, there is always a ‘risk’ or ‘cost’ involved. Despite such conflicts, this song is about moving forward with your companions without running from your desires and emotions. It’s a more mature and powerful side of BUDDiiS. I hope you’ll listen to it a lot along with the series!”

Kotani
“‘Iremono’ is a song I created while thinking about giving something to someone, receiving it, and what circulates in between. Giving doesn’t empty yourself; it becomes your strength again through exchanges with others. I hope this song can accompany Rento and the others as they regain control of their lives through encounters, and that we can row together toward the future of this story. Please enjoy it with the series.”
