Thanks to COSPA, fans of the TV anime Sousou no Frieren can now bring a little magic to both office and off-duty hours. The merchandise maker has announced new items including a necktie with Frieren’s face, two T-shirt designs, and a set of removable full-color patches.
The anime, based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito and illustration by Abe Tsukasa, began airing in September 2023. It follows the elf mage Frieren as she embarks on a journey to understand humans after the death of the hero Himmel. The series’ third season, the “Golden Land Arc,” is set to premiere in October 2027.
Frieren Brings Business Casual to a New Level
The star item is the “Frieren Necktie.” The tie features Frieren’s design wrapped around the blade of a large sword; flip it over to reveal Frieren’s gentle smile. Made in Japan using a printing technique that delivers vivid colors and fine details, the tie is crafted from easy-care polyester. Its measurements are 7 cm at the widest point, 4 cm at the narrower blade, and 145 cm in length.
Weekend Wear: Two New T-Shirts
For relaxed weekends or any casual day, COSPA is also releasing the “Frieren no Irowake T-Shirt” and the “Frieren & Fern: Mimic Escape T-Shirt.” The former recreates an iconic scene from the series—Frieren’s seductive “color trick”—in WHITE and SUMI (black) colorways, so you might just win over your crush’s heart. The latter design, available in BLACK, features the duo escaping from a mimic chest.
Patch It On with Removable Full-Color Patches
Rounding out the lineup are “Removable Full-Color Patches.” These feature hook-and-loop fasteners for quick attachment and removal, and each patch is stitched with edge threads in the character’s image color. They can be used on military-style gear or sewn onto the included hook-and-loop base (patch base) to attach to any item you like.
Release Details and Pre-Orders
All items will be available at COSPA’s booths during Tokyo Game Show 2026 (September 17–21) and the Kyoto International Manga & Anime Fair 2026 (September 19–20). General sales are scheduled for December 2026, and pre-orders are now open at the COSPA online shop.
