Seiko and Violet Evergarden Gaiden Team Up for Memorial Watches
Seiko has announced a new collaboration with Kyoto Animation’s film Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eien to Jidou Shuki Ningyou, releasing a pair of limited-edition Memorial Watches inspired by the story.

The watches are designed to capture memorable scenes and symbols from the narrative on their dials. Two versions are available—one with a metal band and one with a leather band—each limited to 1,000 pieces. The caseback is engraved with an individual edition number.
The metal-band model features a leaf-green dial that evokes the lush greenery surrounding the girls’ boarding school. Radiating light lines suggest sunlight filtering through the trees.

The leather-band model, in contrast, features a white dial reminiscent of the elegant white camellia flowers. A delicate embossing pattern gives the dial a soft, shimmering effect when light hits it.

Both models share several narrative-driven design elements. The second hand is shaped like a letter, symbolizing the connection between Isabella and Taylor. The 6 o’clock index incorporates the deep green brooch that is Violet’s treasured possession. A white camellia, blooming beautifully at the school, is placed at the 4 o’clock position. At 7–8 o’clock, two birds fly freely in the sky, referencing a scene the two characters looked up to.
The watches are presented in a special white box inspired by Violet’s debutante outfit. A letter-shaped guarantee card, echoing the key item from the story, is also included.

Each watch is priced at 59,800 yen (including tax, 65,780 yen). Sales begin on September 16, 2026, via the PREMICO online shop, with shipments scheduled to start in mid-March 2027.
