Holiday Collection Wraps Up “Love 30” Theme
Finnish lifestyle brand Moomin Arabia is closing out its 2026 annual theme “Love 30” with a holiday collection called “Gift of Love.” The lineup is designed to bring the joy of a Moomin party to everyday homes.
For those unfamiliar, Moomin was created by Tove Jansson, Finland’s beloved author, painter, and artist. The stories of Moomin trolls and their friends have been translated and published in more than 50 countries, and they continue to win hearts around the world.
The collection takes its main motif from Tove Jansson’s comic “The Golden Tail” (1958), and also incorporates illustrations from “The Troublesome Winter” (1955) and “The Prophet Appears” (1956).
Cheerful Party Scenes on Tableware
In “The Golden Tail,” Moomin becomes the center of attention after the tip of his tail turns gold, leading to an invitation to a lavish party. The scenes are full of cheer—Moomins raise their glasses, dance on tables, and celebrate with delight. The party scenes are rendered in warm tones of green, mustard, and beige.
The lineup includes mugs, plates, bowls, and other tableware, as well as serving ware, jars, a pair of glasses perfect for warm drinks, a tablecloth, an apron, and mittens.
A 19cm plate is priced at 4,800 yen (5,280 yen including tax). A 28cm pie dish is also available for 6,400 yen (7,040 yen including tax) and is scheduled for release in early November.
Ornaments and Holiday Spirit
For the holiday season, a special ornament is also part of the collection. Priced at 5,800 yen (6,380 yen including tax), it’s set to arrive in early November. The ornament is meant to be a delightful addition to family decorations and celebrations.
Whether you decorate the tree with family, cook with friends, or gather around the table with loved ones, this collection is designed to accompany those precious moments.
The items will be available from October 7, 2026 at the Moomin Arabia official online store, Iittala Arabia Daimaru Tokyo, Iittala stores, and other retailers.
