Matsuri Isora, author of Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto, and Sirotaka, illustrator of Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, are teaming up for a brand-new light novel series. The official X account for the project announced on Thursday that the series is titled Boukyaku no Curse Knight (The Curse Knight of Oblivion).
Earth Star Entertainment will publish the first volume under its Earth Star Novel imprint on November 13.
Silent Witch Background
Isora began writing the Silent Witch light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2020. Fujimi Shobo later published the first volume under its Kadokawa Books imprint in June 2021, with illustrations by Nanna Fujimi. The 12th volume went on sale on June 10, and the 13th is scheduled for November 10.
Studio Gokumi adapted the light novel into a 13-episode television anime that aired in Summer 2025. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with multiple subtitles and an English dub.
Mushoku Tensei Background
Rifujin na Magonote penned the Mushoku Tensei novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website between November 2012 and April 2015. Kadokawa began printing the novel with illustrations by Sirotaka under its MF Books label in January 2014 and released the 26th and final volume in November 2022.
Produced by Studio Bind, the 23-episode first season aired in split cours in Winter 2021 and Fall 2021. The 24-episode second season aired in two parts in Summer 2023 and Spring 2024. The third season began airing on July 6. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with multiple subtitles and dubs.
