Baki Dou x JGSDF Tohoku Army Camo T-Shirts Feature Hanma Baki and Hanma Yujiro

Anime Baki Dou has launched a collaboration with the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) Tohoku Army. Two camo T-shirts will be available for preorder on the online store EDITH ONLINE starting September 27, 2026.

Hanma Baki and Hanma Yujiro in Camo

The collaboration offers the Camo T-shirt Hanma Baki and the Camo T-shirt Hanma Yujiro. Baki’s full-body scars and Yujiro’s ‘demon face’ are each expressed through camouflage patterns. The two shirts use different camo patterns, making the designs particularly distinctive for a Self-Defense Forces collaboration.

Both shirts are made of polyester with a quick-drying dry mesh construction. Sizes are M, L, and LL. Each shirt costs 5,500 yen (tax included).

Preorder and Release Details

Preorders will be accepted on EDITH ONLINE from September 27 at 10:00 to October 18 at 23:59. Products are scheduled to ship around mid-December.

Sendai Event on September 27

On September 27, the same day preorders open, the JGSDF Sendai Garrison in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, will host the Tohoku Army 66th Anniversary Event. General admission is from 9:00 to 15:00.

At the venue, organizers will set up a photo spot with life-size Baki Dou panels using newly drawn illustrations, distribute collaboration stickers, and present an original certification (a dog tag-style acrylic keychain) to participants in a special program.

About Baki Dou

Itagaki Keisuke’s Baki manga series began in 1991. Centered on the fierce battle between protagonist Hanma Baki and his father, Hanma Yujiro, the saga continued with the second part Baki in 1999, the third part Hanma Baki in 2006, the fourth part Baki Dou in 2014, and the fifth part Baki Dou in 2018. The latest series, Baki-rahen, has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion since 2023.

The Baki Dou anime revives legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi in the present day and depicts an ultimate strongest-in-history battle across eras. The first and second cours are streaming exclusively worldwide on Netflix. The second cour will also begin terrestrial TV broadcasting in Japan on October 4, 2026.
