Production I.G, the studio behind both the Rilakkuma anime and Haikyuu!!, has announced a special crossover project: Rilakkuma x Haikyuu!!. The collaboration will bring the two worlds together through POP UP STORE events in five Japanese cities, plus exclusive goods and other items.
The POP UP STORE run starts on Friday, November 20, 2026. A collaboration kuji lottery and additional collaboration items are also planned.

Rilakkuma is a healing character from San-X, designed from an original concept by illustrator Kondou Aki. The Rilakkuma anime airs every Saturday at 9:25 a.m. on TBS.
Haikyuu!! is a landmark sports manga by Furudate Haruichi, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) from February 2012. The story follows high school students devoted to volleyball. A sequel film, Haikyuu!! VS Chiisana Kyojin, and a special anime, Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Ikukoto, are in production.
Production I.G has drawn 12 new special collaboration visuals. Characters from Karasuno High School, Aoba Jousai High School, Nekoma High School, Fukurodani Academy, and Inarizaki High School are shown alongside Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, and their friends. The lineup includes Hinata Shouyou, Oikawa Tooru, Kuroo Tetsurou, and other familiar faces.

POP UP STORE Locations and Schedule
The POP UP STORE will tour baseyard tokyo locations in five cities. The first wave of collaboration goods has been revealed.
First wave goods include trading can badges and acrylic stands, as well as pouches and socks that match Rilakkuma’s relaxed world. The full product lineup is available on the collaboration’s special website.
The collaboration kuji goes on sale from Saturday, January 23, 2027. In January 2027, card soft cookies using the collaboration visuals will also be sold.
Card soft cookies advance reservations begin on Thursday, September 24 at 1:00 p.m. Reservations are being accepted at Bandai’s official shopping site Premium Bandai and other online stores.
In Tokyo and Osaka, the POP UP STORE will run until Sunday, December 6, 2026. After that, it will open in Sapporo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima from Friday, December 18, 2026.
