The TV anime Koori no Jouheki is returning for Season 2, and the first preview cuts and story details for Episode 15 have been revealed. The episode, titled ‘Kumoyuuten,’ is set to air from October 1 (Thursday) on TBS’s 28 affiliated stations nationwide.
Based on Agasawa Koucha’s manga, Koori no Jouheki has surpassed 190 million cumulative views on LINE Manga and has more than 3.4 million copies in circulation, including digital editions. The first season aired from April to July 2026, and Season 2 begins with Episode 15 in October. Mankyuu directs the anime, with Studio KAI handling animation production.
The story centers on Hikawa Koyuki, a high school girl who finds it difficult to interact with others and builds walls between herself and the people around her. She spends her days quietly, keeping to herself except for her childhood friend Azumi Miki. Everything begins to shift when Amamiya Minato, a boy who closes the distance without hesitation, appears in front of her.
As Koyuki and Minato grow closer, they begin to develop feelings that go beyond friendship. Meanwhile, Youta finally tells Miki about the feelings he has held for years. With some characters confessing and others keeping their emotions hidden, their paths begin to cross and miss one another. The ensemble youth drama follows the lonely Koyuki, former school idol Miki, close-talking Minato, and gentle basketball club member Youta as their feelings become increasingly tangled.

Although she is troubled by her decision, Miki turns down Youta’s confession. Minato, worried about Miki, reaches out to her. As he listens to what she has to say, however, he starts to feel anxious about his own feelings for Koyuki.
At the same time, Koyuki has heard from Youta about how the confession ended. She tries to talk with Miki, but Minato and Youta happen to be there as well—?
