About the series
BANANA FISH is a suspense action series based on the manga Yoshida Akimi serialized in Bessatsu Shoujo Comic from 1985 to 1994. The story follows Ash Lynx, a young man who leads a street gang in New York, as he joins Okumura Eiji, a Japanese boy who has come to the city to do a story, in pursuing the truth behind the mysterious phrase “Banana Fish.” A TV anime adaptation aired from July to December 2018.
